In Michigan, there are approximately 10,000 children in foster care and nearly 200 children who still need an adoptive family.
In Macomb and the surrounding counties, we need your help to provide a safe, nurturing home for them until they can be returned to their families. If that isn't possible, foster parents may be asked to provide permanent homes.

We are the Community Center for Foster, Adoptive, and Kinship Families and one of the many resources available to help you on this journey.
The Macomb Foster Closet is an incredible all-volunteer nonprofit that provides clothing, toys, school supplies, and other necessary items for children and youth in care all donated by our generous community. We even have events and activities for Birthdays, Christmas, Easter, Back-to-School and more.
While foster parents do receive a small stipend, we know it doesn’t cover everything a child needs and you need everything right away. We are a community of people who understand that being a foster parent can be incredibly rewarding and hard at the same time. We are here to empower you with the resources and programs you need to be successful.
We know you are committed to helping these children and so are we. Let us help you provide children in foster care with the gift of hope for a better future. Learn how we got your back at
